Looking down from the bridge, above the foamy Ozalj waterfall, another fairy-tale scene becomes visible: a stone neo-Renaissance palace with crown-like ornamentation and harmonious arcades…An uniformed passerby would never think that the old hydroelectric plant, the Munjara of the town of Karlovac, is hidden behind these lovely facades. This plant has three 3.5 megawatt generators and was erected in 1907/8.
