Vivodina
VivodinaVIVODINA is an old village dating back to the sixteenth century, when it was called Vojvodina (meaning duchy). The tall and slender tower of the parish church of St. Lawrence, with a beautiful Baroque crown, lantern and dome, stands out against a magnificent landscape. The church exterior, and particularly its richly furnished interior, reveal the work of skilled architects and a unique Baroque design. The church is one of the most valuable monuments of Baroque architecture in the Ozalj region. The village is situated on the ridge of a hill, from both sides offering a magnificent view of huge green waves covered by thick forests. As many as 26 villages and hamlets are hidden among these forests and hills. This is a winegrowing district with seven centuries of tradition.
