For all walkers, recreants, nature lovers and Nordic walking, three decorated and marked hiking trails in Vivodina, Vrhovac and Lovići Prekriška are offered for enjoyment. Trails pass through picturesque mountainous landscapes of vineyards and meadows and forest hills of Škaljevica, Golubica and slopes of southern Žumberak. The paths pass through parts of the Ozaljsko – Vivodina wine road where the find and gastronomic offer of local households and farms of the Vrhovsko – Vojvodina region are located.
Three churches – Lović Prekriški
Track description: Circular, 8 km long, moderate weight (height rise of 226 m to 1.2 km)
Background: roads between settlements mostly asphalted, forest paths mainly macadam (pebbly) or earthy and meadow earthways or paths.
The trail begins at the chapel (cross) in Gornikima Vivodin. Asphalted road continues to the chapel of St. The ghost on the hill above the village of Ferenci. The further path continues along the asphalt along the vineyards and leads towards Donji Lovići Prekriz. The next is a 1.2 km steep climb to the church of Sv. The cross (height of 226 m) located at 483 m. In front of the church of Sv. The Cross is one of the most beautiful seaside of continental Croatia, an ideal place to visit the Ozalj region, a picnic and a holiday halfway down to the end of the trail. The road continues through the woods (forest road macadam and meadow paths) all the way to the mountain below Lovići Vivodinski. Then it descends through the macadam through the vineyards and meadows towards the chapel of St. Francis. At the end macadam paths and paths follow the return to Gornik Vivodinska.

Vivodina and vineyards
Course description: Circular, 11.5 km long, Moderate Weights with several ups and downs, Altitude difference 140 m
Base: The track is an asphalt road or a way between settlements, macadamous woods and meadow cobblestone or trails along vineyards and meadows.
The starting point is at the church of Sv. Lovre in Vivodina, then the asphalted road turns and descends towards the village of Zorkovac. By further landing along the asphalt road and partly by the meadow path, it is reached to the restored watermill at the Kamenica stream, which is the natural border between Croatia and Slovenia. An idyllic spot for a picnic and a break. Further along the asphalted road through the woods you reach the beginning of the village Obrež Vivodinski. At the winery Darko Vrbanek the trail turns towards the village Vrškovac with a moderate uphill to 1.5 km landing to Galez Drago, a village halfway down the path (possibility of rest, tables and benches). Then there follows a 2 km of moderate climb across the hill Farnice through the vineyards and forest to the Mihalj (St. Michael) intersection on the hill above the settlement of Hodinci. This trail continues towards Petruš vrh (cemetery, highest point of the track) providing 360 degree panoramic view. Descending by a narrow rural trail follows the return to Vivodina, the starting point of the trail.

Vrhovac and river Kupa
Track description: round, 9 km long, light footpath with a height difference of 70 m
Base: Most of the tracks are made of asphalted roads, less macadam roads. Along the River Kala (Zaluka) it is a 1 km long meadow path that can be misty in the fall or spring when the river flows out of its riverbank.
The starting point is at the church of Sv. Kuzme and Damjan in Vrhovac. A bypass to the northwest, the trail leads to Škaljevica, a road intersection which is also a picnic resting place. Not far from the village is the village of Seljakko, which offers authentic food and accommodation. Then there follows a downhill downhill towards the river Kupa to Zaluke. At Kupa, in Zala, there is a private concrete with a bench that walkers can use as a picnic resort or as a hot spot for hot summer days. The track then follows a meadow (1km) along the river Kupa towards Ozalj. Before the Old Town Ozalj, the track leads back to Vrhovac. Through light modification of the gentle hills and valleys, with a gentle climb, the trail returns to the south side of Vrhovac.

Knowledge path „Where fruit matures“
At the beautiful Lovići Prekriško, near the Visitor Center and Visitor Center there is a marked educational trail with information about the plant and animal world. The information table and the spectacular orchard with native apple varieties will introduce you to the basic information about life in this part of the Zumberak Nature Park – Samoborsko gorje. The trail is adapted to children and is not demanding, we recommend spending an hour in an idyllic setting.
